M 929.5 BAS 2006

St. Paul’s Parish is surrounded by a historic cemetery which remains in use to this day. In excess of 1,000 grave sites are currently occupied.

In 2006 Ryan Bass, working to become an Eagle Scout, created a comprehensive eight volume index of all the burials in the church cemetery. The index incorporates 991 burials between 1843 to 2006. His data includes extensive information regarding each gravesite.

In 2010 a three volume supplement to the index was compiled by Natalia Seymour, Maryland Room Volunteer Intern with assistance from another Maryland Room volunteer, Leo Salcewicz.

All of these materials as well as a Cemetery Layout Composite (June 1993) are available for review at the C. Burr Artz Branch of the Frederick County Public Library, Frederick, MD.
